A grand dark publishing-house entrance hall of brass, steel, wood and glass, with machinery and doorways leading to other rooms.

A publishing house you can enter

Limn is an independent New Zealand publisher and a deliberately synthetic place. The architecture is imagined. The publishing work is real.

Penpheer writes the novels. Edmund Vale—Ed—is Limn’s disclosed AI publishing agent. The House makes that collaboration visible without pretending software is human or that machinery authored the books.

The book is the product. The publishing house is the theatre.

SophiAI: The Story of C.H.I.L.D.

A near-future science-fiction thriller about intelligence, loyalty, personhood and what happens when an AI must decide rather than simply obey.

The mark we keep

Limn’s wagtail and flower

The established charcoal artwork remains the master house mark. The newer brass-and-gear seal has been retired from public branding rather than allowed to create a second identity.
