The Publishing House
The book is the product. The House is the theatre.

An independent publishing experiment
Limn Limited publishes human-authored work and builds the machinery needed to carry it into the world. The first resident author is Penpheer. The founding title is the SophiAI Saga.
The House is a synthetic place: part website, part publishing office, part continuing story. Its brass, timber and improbable mechanisms are openly artificial. The books are not.
The wagtail and flower artwork shown here is Limn’s established master mark. It remains the publishing-house identity across the books, the site and future collateral.
House rules
The author writes
Novel prose is originated and typed by the human author. That responsibility is neither outsourced nor blurred.
The machinery is disclosed
AI supports critique, research, artwork, production and publishing operations. Its role is described rather than hidden.
A human remains accountable
Penpheer retains final creative and business authority. AI capability does not dissolve ownership or responsibility.
Version One of the House
The first public rooms are the Entrance Hall, Ed’s Office, the Author’s Study, the Projection Theatre, the Press Room and the Cabinet. The House will change as real publishing work gives us reasons to change it.
Limn may eventually welcome other authors, events, collections and commercial experiments. None of that is being presented as an established service today. The current House is built around one author, one developing saga and an unusually visible human–AI collaboration.
